All Real Food started as a passion for creating and eating holistic, healthy food that nourishes the body, tastes delicious, helps you feel great and is in sync with nature.

Holistic Health

  • All natural and organic ingredients
  • Ingredients are prepared in such a way as to provide the most nutritional value – grains are soaked, nuts are activated and kale is massaged.
  • Provide a variety of menu options to suite all dietary preferences.

Local

  • All Real Food supports local suppliers and uses local ingredients whenever possible to support local farmers and businesses, reduce food miles and obtain the freshest, most nutritional ingredients for our food in line with the seasons.
  • Fresh produce is sourced only from Australia or New Zealand.

Ethical

  • All meat, chicken, seafood and dairy is sourced from farmers or suppliers that treat both the animals and the environment ethically, and raise animals in as natural environment as possible without the use of antibiotics and genetically modified feed.

Transparent

  • All Real Food is transparent about where our food is sourced from, how our food is produced and which suppliers we use to bring you the best real food every day.

Mark Woodhead

This software creative guru is one of the founders of All Real Food and responsible for all our amazing technology, as well as many of the other cool things about the business.

I developed a passion for healthy eating in the last few years, but have been confused by the abundance of information available, quite often contradicting from one month to the next. I tried to work through this information only to become frustrated with the arguments for and against a particular way of eating. By working through this with Daniella, it was important to me that, in particular, we not only provide the information people are so obviously craving, but also offer the practical support mechanisms to source products, locally and sustainably and actually provide a healthy option through the Self Service Cafés.

The business has inspired me to learn more and I’ve started a course with Institute for Integrative Nutrition to better understand ways of eating and how this affects our lifestyle.

I was often told as a child: ‘Don't play with your food’, parental advice I never took as gospel. It eventually led me to an apprenticeship in commercial cookery.

I have over 20 years of skilled cooking experience in some of Australia’s best restaurants and have been fortunate enough to be influenced by great chefs such as Jacques Reymond, Shannon Bennett and Guy Grossi, combined with a passion to create healthy, wholesome, organic foods – bringing you a healthy taste sensation in every jar.

Healthy eating is a sheer contrast to my rich and heavy classical French training from the beginning of my career. This training has stepped aside for a balanced and delicious approach to food.

I’m passionate about working with only the finest seasonal produce, preparing everything from scratch and letting the ingredients speak for themselves. I’m responsible for bringing a new level of excellence to our home-made products, technical expertise and the secret ingredient in any quality food – love.

Here’s something that will be a joy to hear - FORGET DIETING!

Focus on enjoying and nourishing your body with as much healthy, real food as you want. Now that sounds more fun doesn’t it!

Here’s our take:

There is so much information available today about diets and dieting, it can be incredibly overwhelming and confusing. Many people jump from one fad diet to another, never quite achieving the long-term results they were hoping for, which may include: weight loss, going down a dress size or two, feeling more energetic or having clear, glowing skin.

I would like to propose a new concept on ‘dieting’.

I would like to propose a new concept on dieting. No one diet is right or wrong, and all diets can be healthy or unhealthy depending on how they are executed. If you were following a vegetarian diet laden with processed breads, refined sugar and pasta, this wouldn’t be considered a healthy diet by most people’s standards. If the same vegetarian “diet” consisted of fresh fruits and vegetables, wholegrains, good oils, nuts and seeds, you would be nourishing your body with real food and more likely feel amazing, getting the results you were hoping for.

Every diet is healthy when it is made up of real wholefoods in the form that nature has intended. The different food types that you choose to include or exclude from your diet will depend on personal values. Some people may choose to exclude meat products for ethical reasons. Other may need to exclude dairy and grains, which can be particularly difficult to digest, if they have a sensitive or compromised digestive system.

There is no “one size fits all” solution because everyone is different, but sticking to real food will work for everyone.

Organic Food:
Food that is good enough to eat

FACT. To gain the most benefit from everything you eat, food should be grown or raised in its most natural environment.

If you take meat or dairy for example, a cow should be out in the field free to roam, graze and forage the way nature intended without the use of growth hormones, antibiotics and genetically modified grain feed. Happy Cows!Fruit and vegetables should be grown in nutrient rich soils in the correct season without the use of pesticides, herbicides and inorganic fertilizers.
